    Terms of Service

    1. Introduction

    1.1               A publishing business trading as Mrs Frillybee. This Website is owned and operated by us. We sell our Product to the public as well as retailers, subject to the Terms of Service laid out below.

    1.2               Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms “Product”, Products” or “Product(s)” refer to the products that we design and produce, and sell on this Website. Please read these Terms of Service of Sale prior to purchasing any Product(s) from Mrs Frillybee`s Website. If you do not agree with these Terms of Service you must immediately stop using this Website.

    1.3               You should understand that by ordering any of our Products you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. From time to time we will need to update our Terms of Service; we therefore recommend that you check our Website for changes now and again, and also that you keep a copy of them for reference.

    1.5               We do not sell our Products to anyone under the age of 18 years old. If you are under 18 years old, please do not continue to shop within our Website. By using this website, you are confirming that you are aged 18 years or older.

    1.6               Each registration is for a single user only. Mrs Frillybee does not permit you to share your user name and password with any other person nor with multiple users on a network. Responsibility for the security of any passwords rests with you.

    2         Description of our Products

    2.1            Images on this Website are based on the original artwork files that was sent to the printers. We would like to emphasise that we are showing you as accurate a picture as possible of the product you can choose to buy.

    2.2            However as a Customer you need to take into account that colours on a computer screen appear much brighter than in real life, also that colour quality on different computer screens (monitors) varies, so you may find, when your products have been delivered to you, that the colours vary slightly from how they appeared to you on your screen. This applies to all Product(s) that you can buy after looking at them as images on the internet of course.

    2.3            In our description we also describe the approximate size of the Greetings Cards when folded (in other words the size of the front of the card where the main image is printed), and the colour and quality of the envelope included. We give a description of the pictorial content of the design (mainly on the front of the Greetings Cards but sometimes the back as well) which is intended to help you choose a Greetings Card for a particular person or occasion. However the choice to order a particular Greetings Card is entirely your responsibility, regardless of what our description might appear to you to recommend.

    2.4            Some Products have extra features, such as glitter, or plastic jewels etc. However, these special finishing touches will not show up in the image on a computer screen, but we will tell you about them in our description of the particular Product which has them.

    2.5            By placing your order, you are accepting that our description of the Product(s) is given by us for your guidance only. We have endeavoured to make  descriptions  of Products as accurate as we are able, bearing in mind that you the Customer are choosing to buy them,  after seeing them on our Website as it is displayed  on your computer screen. 


    3         Prices, Discounts & Delivery Charges


    3.1            The prices of our Products shown on the Website are not subject to VAT.

    3.2            Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Such changes will not affect any orders for which Mrs Frillybee has sent a confirmation of dispatch.

    3.3            Delivery charges may apply, the costs dependent upon the volume of product ordered in one transaction. Please see our Delivery page for further details. Depending on the size of the order, the delivery charges may already be included in the Product(s) price. However, should any additional charges to the initial shown price apply, these are clearly shown in the Shopping Basket summary whilst you are shopping and before you proceed to the Checkout.

    3.4            If you do not accept the charges shown in the ‘Shopping Basket’, do not continue to shop, ‘log out’ of your account and close the Website.

    3.5            Should you receive a discount code for use on our website for any particular reason, please only use these codes for the purpose they are intended. Our website does not have the capacity to highlight an incorrect use. We will of course contact you within 2 working days of placing the order to advise of the problem and offer an alternative (to cancelling the order) solution. Please do not embarress us into refusing and cancelling an order because you have not applied a code to what it is intended.

    3.6            We regret that as yet we are not taking overseas orders from members of the public. We sell and deliver to UK mainland addresses only at present.

    3.7            We can take orders for wholesale shipments overseas to Retailers and / or Distributors. We supply ex-works terms only unless agreed otherwise. Please contact us to discuss shipping terms and prices.

    4         Orders

    4.1            We regret that we are unable to take orders over the telephone. Orders should be made through the Website

    4.2            If you need to contact us about placing an order, the simplest way to do so is by typing your message in the Contact Us box, at the foot of the main pages, giving your enquiry in as much detail as possible, as well as your contact details. We will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible. Or you may send an email direct to info@frillybee.co.uk.

    4.3            After placing an order with us, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to buy a Product or Product(s).

    4.4            All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you, by sending you an email that confirms that the Product or Product(s) have been dispatched.  The Contract between us (Contract) will only be formed when we send you the dispatch confirmation.

    4.5            Should there be any Product(s) on the order that have not been dispatched, these Product(s) do not form part of the agreement.

    4.6            Mrs Frillybee reserves the right to reject any order received or any request for samples.

    5         Payments

    5.1            For individual Customers we take payment via Paypal. Your payment will be processed by Paypal. Mrs Frillybee will not directly receive or store any Credit or Debit Card details in any format.

    5.2            Retailers, please pay either by OnLine Bank Transfer, BACS or by cheque.

    5.3            Cheques should be sent to:

    5.4            For BACS payments, please contact us at the time you place your order. We will supply the relevant information.

    5.5            Your order will be despatched when Mrs Frillybee receives confirmation of clearance of the payment.

    6         Supplies of our Products

    6.1            Sales of our Product(s) are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. We will endeavour to keep the Website updated fully, with details of any new Product(s), and the removal of old ones.

    6.2            If in the unlikely event your order cannot be fulfilled, we will let you know what options are open to you.

    7         Delivery

    7.1            Deliveries to our Retail Customers will either be through Royal Mail using 2nd class post or our nominated parcel carrier using the 2-5 working day service. Courier deliveries may require a signature. Please ensure that someone is available to sign for delivery. Mrs Frillybee shall not be responsible for any additional costs the Customer may incur as a result of the Customer failing to take delivery.

    7.2            Deliveries to our Non-Retail Customers will be by Royal Mail using 2nd class post and do not require a signature.

    7.3            We reserve the right to use an alternative delivery service where we see fit. In the event that we choose to use another provider, your  Shipping and Handling costs will not exceed those stated in our Order Confirmation / Invoice.

    7.4            In most cases your order will be delivered within a few days. However please allow 14 days for delivery. Mrs Frillybee will not be held responsible for late deliveries outside our control howsoever caused, including peak seasonal trading periods, periods of industrial action, natural disasters, or in areas of extreme weather.

    7.5            Mrs Frillybee shall not be liable for any costs, losses, damages or expenditure incurred by the Customer or any other person or company, arising directly from any failure to meet an estimated delivery date.

    7.6            Unless otherwise agreed we may deliver by instalments, in which case we will inform you. No further charges will be made for “follow on” deliveries. 

    7.7             By accepting these Terms of Service you accept that Mrs Frillybee has no influence over Royal Mail or any other delivery service providers.

    7.8            In the unlikely event that we fail to deliver, other than reasons beyond our reasonable control or Customer fault, our liability will be limited to the total invoice value. You must inform us within 2 working days of the delivery allowance (sub paragraph 5.4 above) if the Product(s) are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

    8         Telephone Call charges

    8.1            Mrs Frillybee do not use Premium Rate telephone lines. We use Land Lines and Mobiles.  Should you wish to call us, please check the cost of calls to these numbers with your telephone provider.

    9         Product Price Validity

    9.1            The price(s) shown at the time that you the Customer send us your order, are the prices you will be charged. Should there be any revision in price(s) that occur during the period in between the time you order and the time we dispatch the Product(s) to you, the costs to you will remain the same as the date on which we received your order. However, subsequent orders for the same Product(s) will be charged at the revised price(s).

    10     Returns

    10.1         You the Customer are entitled to a 7 day cooling-off period following receipt, during which time you can return the Product(s) to us.

    10.2         Should you wish to return the Product(s) to us, you should notify us in writing within 7 days of receipt, giving details. Please use the ‘Contact Us’ facility on the Website.

    10.3         Product(s) should be returned to the postal address above in section 1.

    10.4         Once we receive them, we shall refund the cost of the Product(s) only. The postal charges are the responsibility of the customer.

    10.5         To ensure that we do receive them, please use a method where both delivery and signature are recorded. Should we not receive the Product(s), we cannot refund your money.

    10.6         We shall only make a full refund if the Product(s) are returned to us in perfect condition.  The cellophane bag inside which each Product is packed, must remain unopened. If the cellophane bag has been opened the cost of the repackaging will be deducted from the refund. You need to ensure that all Products are carefully repackaged and returned to us in their original packing and in re-saleable condition.

    11     Defective Products

    11.1         We are keen to ensure that your order is delivered in a satisfactory condition. However, in the event that your order should arrive in a defective or damaged condition, you should notify us in writing within 2 days of receipt, giving details. Please use the ‘Contact Us’ facility on the Website, or email us.

    11.2          Mrs Frillybee will acknowledge your email and request that, should you wish to return the product, you should do so in the original packaging at your own expense within 7 days of receipt.

    11.3         Product(s) should be returned to the postal address above in section 1.

    11.4         On receipt of the Product(s), subject to management confirmation following assessment of the defects or damage, Mrs Frillybee will replace the product(s) free of charge within 7 days of receipt and offer to reimburse the postage cost.

    12     Communications

    12.1          Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications that Mrs Frillybee sends to you should be in writing. When using our Website, you are accepting that communication between us will be mainly electronic. If you need to keep records you may choose to print copies of our emails to you.

    13     Terms of Service

    13.1         Mrs Frillybee reserves the right to make changes at any time to our Website, policies, and these Terms of Service. You as a Customer will be subject to the Terms of Service published at the time you order Product(s) from this Website, other than when further changes are required by law.

    13.2         If any of these Conditions are deemed void or for any reason unenforceable, that Condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining Conditions or the Contract between us.

    13.3         We shall not be held responsible for any breach of our obligations under these Terms of Service if any breach arises for any reason beyond our reasonable control.

    14     Websites

    14.1         While Mrs Frillybee endeavours to ensure that the Website is normally available 24 hours a day, Mrs Frillybee shall not be liable if for any reason the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period. 

    14.2         Access to the Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond Mrs Frillybee’s control. 

    14.3            We may provide links to other Websites or resources from time to time. These links are provided for your convenience. We do not endorse the contents of those Websites, are not responsible for the availability of these Websites and will not be liable in any way for any loss or damage which you may suffer by using those Websites. If you decide to access linked third party Websites you do so at your own risk.

    14.4            We try to ensure that this Website is free from viruses or defects. However we cannot guarantee that your use of this Website or any Websites accessed through it will not cause damage to your computer. It is your responsibility to ensure that the right equipment is available for use with this Website. Except in the case of negligence on our part, we will not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this Website.

    15.1            The contents of this Website, including graphics, text, logos, button icons, images, page layouts and software, is the property of Mrs Frillybee and is protected by applicable laws. You may not extract for re-use any part of the Website without Mrs Frillybee’s prior written consent .

    15.2         You may not copy, republish, reproduce, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use the Website content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from and of Mrs Frillybee’s Website content except for your own, personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of This Website content requires Mrs Frillybee’s prior written permission.
